Welcome to the Virtual Orchard.

We have already set up five school orchards in the local area. The feeling of pride is huge as a child plants the tree and thinks of its future. The orchard is easy to maintain – pruning is very simple and training is offered as part of the education package. Within School and community groups each child has planted and cared for a specific tree in their orchard and photos of these trees will be uploaded into the virtual orchard as they grow.

The Virtual Orchard will enable children to keep in touch, wherever they may move to in the world, with trees they have planted in North East Wales and to see them grow, blossom and fruit.

As the virtual orchard grows there will also be more to do and explore for all ages including curriculum linked activities.
